Park Place does pasta right

Chef/owner Philip Manganaro is passionate and hands-on about everything that is brought to your table. Making his own pastas is a specialty. His food emphasizes fresh flavors, consistent preparation, and a focus on quality. Last week's special was a rabbit lasagne with chanterelles and a ricotta herb sauce. His potato gnocchi melts in your mouth. Park Place is very much a made-from-scratch restaurant.

PMAC networking luncheon spotlights mayors

Merchantville Mayor Ted Brennan and Pennsauken Mayor Betsy McBride were the guest speakers at the networking luncheon of the Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber of Commerce, held on Wednesday, February 8th at noon at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Road. Mayor Brennan spoke on the importance of government and businesses working together and its positive effect on a downtown business district. Mayor McBride reiterated that sentiment and said she will be available Wednesdays to answer questions and concerns.

MBPA kicks off Scavenger Hunt

downtownRegistration for the Merchantville Scavenger Hunt is now open! There is no fee to participate. This is an all ages event and anyone from any town is welcome. The winning team will receive a basket filled with goodies from the over 20 participating Merchantville businesses! To register, simply email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with: your team name and the names and email addresses of each team member. You'll receive a confirmation email with a complete list of rules. Then on April 30th, we will email each team member a complete scavenger hunt list. You'll have through May 8th to find as many of the clues as possible.

Art Reception Planned

Eilanarts Center invites you to join them on January 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for the art reception of their current show "The Shape of Color".
