Sandals Cutting Funjet Ties Creates More Work for Travel Agents, But Not a Deal-Breaker

Sandals and Beaches Resorts’ decision to sever its distribution relationship with Funjet Vacations, one of many brands under the Mark Travel umbrella that recently merged with Apple Vacations, will prove to be a temporary business disruption for travel agents who sell the luxury all-inclusive resort company, but not a move that is expected to impact whether travel agents sell them or not. “I definitely saw it coming,” said Georgiann Jaworskyj, owner of Custom Travel Services in Merchantville, New Jersey, and the second-highest seller of Sandals Resorts in her state. “I have felt for the past five years that Sandals was moving away from tour operators and pushing business to Unique Vacations.”

Art Walk Planned

Eilandarts Center is pleased to host the first annual Merchantville Art Walk on Friday, April 20, 2018. From 6 to 9 pm, local artists’ work will be featured at businesses throughout Merchantville. There will also be live music and art demonstrations including real- time chalk drawings and a mosaic presentation by the Mosaic Society of Philadelphia. Camellia's Closet is a quaint fashion boutique locate at 19 W Park Avenue in Merchantville, NJ. Many many hours have been put into this project in establishing our brand and very first store! Art Reception Planned

Eilanarts Center invites you to join them on January 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for the art reception of their current show "The Shape of Color".
