Merchantville's turning 150 years young! Our town will celebrate the Borough Beautiful and all its history on Saturday, May 18, 2024 with a sesquicentennial parade through the streets. Marching bands, floats, dance troupes and more lead the caravan through Merchantville's downtown to mark the momentous occasion. And, what's a parade without mummers?? After 30 years, greeting visitors and residents to town, the Merchantville welcome sign on the circle was damaged and last June Borough officials asked residents to take this unique opportunity to unleash their creativity and  inspiration and submit their ideas for a 2024 redesign. Submissions were accepted over six weeks and a winner selected. The 2024 program runs Mondays though Fridays from June 24th to July 26th, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Merchantville Community Center.
