The agenda will also include the regular business of the MPWC, payment of bills, updates on MPWC projects and other matters that may arise and need attention. The proposed adjustments are as follows: Residential Connection Fee current, $1,904.00 and proposed, $1,979.00. Commercial Connection Fee current, $32.70 and proposed, $35.98 (Per 1,000 gallons/annual).

The Merchantville Task Force and American Legion Post 68, Auxillary 68 are raising funds to "Build A Brick - Wall of Honor" at Wellwood Park. Engraved 4x8 bricks are $50 each and engraved 8x8 bricks are $100 each. Armed Forces emblems are only available on the 8x8 bricks due to size constraints. Brick requests can be found on the F. W. Grigg Post 68 website and under the "forms" tab. The Post will celebrate its 100th year Centennial throughout 2019, the brick walkway of Honor is part of our celebration. Happy First Day of Winter! MPWC wants to make sure you keep your pipes and meter warm to avoid damages from any increase in freezing temperatures. Freezing temperatures can freeze the pipes inside of your home. If you suddenly have no water but do not have any outstanding balances, check your property for frozen pipes. Also, do you know about our Senior/Disability Discount? If you have not filled out an application, we recommend returning the form prior to your first quarter billing, as it cannot be applied retroactively to accounts. Applicant must be receiving a discount with their municipality and income may not exceed $10,000, not including social security.

Hydrant flushing is set to begin again! We will be flushing hydrants September 23rd through October 4th, Sunday through Thursday nights from 7pm to 11pm. To better understand our flushing program, the MPWC will be releasing 10 Frequently Asked Questions to our customers. On Saturday, September 29th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the strut returns. It's been a couple of years since the last Mutt Strut, but several volunteers are working with Merchantville Task Force and Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber Of Commerce PMAC to bring this wonderful event back to town. We would love to see your pups dressed up in their favorite costumes, shirts, or collars! Awards for best dressed, biggest dog, best pack, and more! Support local shelters by donating new toys and dog food to receive a free ticket for some awesome give-aways. Looking for a new best friend? Adoptable dogs will be participating in the Strut so come check them out! Mutt Strut will be paired with Merchantville Market Off Centre and all proceeds from registration, sponsors and vendor fees will go toward local groups supporting animal welfare! We'll have many pet-related vendors as well as our regular market vendors. Marys Mobile Diner will be serving breakfast and lunch throughout the event!

Art Reception Planned
Eilanarts Center invites you to join them on January 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for the art reception of their current show "The Shape of Color".
