Sgt. Rulli's Passing
It is with great sadness that the Merchantville Police Department announced the passing of Retired Sergeant Matthew Rulli. Sergeant Rulli passed away in the early hours of January 19th at his home in the company of family after a 38 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the loving husband of Christina L. (Henderson) Rulli. Beloved father of Brittany Rulli, Samantha Rulli & Olivia Rulli. Survived by one grandson Gavin Rulli. Relatives and friends are invited

Noel Wirth, 90
It is with great sorrow that the Wirth family shares word of the untimely passing of our dear mother, Noel Wirth, who departed for her ultimate journey on the morning of Friday, September 22. Her sunny smile, kind words, and bright outlook will surely be missed by all whose lives she touched. Her life will be celebrated with a memorial service at St. John Lutheran Church in Ocean City, NJ, on Sunday, October 8th, at 11:30 a.m. A gathering to share

Class of '63 Reunion
On Saturday, September 23rd, the Merchantville Class of 1963 had its 60-Year Class Reunion at Maritsa's Restaurant in Maple Shade. Considering their ages - around 78 - they had a pretty good showing with classmates coming from as far away as Florida and Switzerland. Yes, once again, our exchange student Marty Monsch and his wife traveled over 4,000 miles to join us. After all these years, I don't think he's ever missed a reunion.

Joseph A. Callahan Jr.
Joseph A. Callahan Jr., 78 passed away at home with his wife Judy and family on Monday, August 17th, 2020. Survived by his loving wife Judith A. Callahan (Cowgill) and his children Joesph (Julie), Chad (Denise), Craig, Kelly Henry (Sam), Kim Rogers (David) and David Rogers. Born in Camden, N.J. and lived and worked in Pennsauken and has lived in Ocean City for the past 29 years. Attended Arizona State University and is a U.S. Army veteran while serving in the 82nd Airborne Division and was in the Dominican Republic conflict.
