2024 Volunteers of the Year

Congratulations to Merchantville's 2024 recipients of the Frank North Volunteer of the Year Award - the team who brings Merchantville's Market Off Centre to you every month from May - October, and, to our Business owners of the Year, Chris and Beth Mattern from Eclipse Brewing. This year's recipients received their awards from Councilperson Ray Woods on Wednesday, March 19th, before a crowd of volunteer organizers and businesses owners at the Borough's annual Community Roundup.

The New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute today announced the Mayors Wellness Campaign “Healthy Town” winners for 2024 and Merchantville Borough achieved its first Healthy Town Up and Coming designation. These cities and towns go above and beyond to improve health and wellness in their communities through innovative programs in areas such as exercise, healthy eating, and mental health education and awareness.
