SEL at MES

At Merchantville School, we are committed to helping our students thrive in every way possible. This January, our junior high students are diving into lessons on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Core Competencies -focusing on acquiring, building and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.

Tree Dedication

Join the Borough of Merchantville for a tree and plaque dedication in memory of Chris Mecca, former Building Inspector for the Borough of Merchantville. Chris was employed with Camden County as a Construction Official for over 30 years. He also worked part time as a building inspector for many towns throughout Camden County. Chris enjoyed playing baseball, of which he was an avid fan. He loved to garden and tend to his plants as well as build things and work on classic cars. Chris was also a huge Philadelphia
