Summer Reading program

Kids at the Merchantville Public Library kicked off the library’s 2014 summer reading program with “indoor” campfire fun that included snacks and stories on Wednesday, June 4. Here they sport tee shirts they hand painted the week before as a Memorial Day activity while they yell out the 2014 summer reading theme, “Fizz, Boom, Read!” that reflects a focus on science. Programs for kids throughout the summer are planned at Merchantville and at seven other branch libraries in the Camden County Library System.
