The Diversity Committee consists of a maximum of eleven members, the majority of which are residents of the Borough of Merchantville, appointed yearly by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council. A diversity, equity and inclusion committee is a task force of diverse staff members of the community who are responsible for helping to bring about cultural changes in a community that foster a sense of belonging regardless of one's background.
