Vincent C. Barone, age 88 of Merchantville passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. A longtime resident and veteran, Vincent owned and operated the family painting and wallpapering business for over 40 years. He was an inductee in the Philadelphia Mummers Hall of Fame and a member of St. Peter RC Church in Merchantville for over 56 years. Vincent loved going fishing with his brother Frank and always enjoyed the time spent with his loving family. Grandfather of the late David, he is survived by his loving wife Carolyn; three children, Cynthia Reece (Bruce), Sandra Stoltz (Michael), Barbara Good (Michael); six grandchildren, Stephanie Thress (Robert), Brian, Christina, Matthew, Anna, Anthony; two great-grandchildren, Torri and Robert; a brother, Frank Barone (Nancy); his Aunt Rose; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Wednesday evening from 6 to 8pm and again Thursday from 9 to 9:45 am at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Ave., Merchantville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am, Thursday, Sept. 27th at St. Peter R.C. Church, 43 West Maple Ave., Merchantville. Interment private.
