Malcolm Melick Steck Jr., age 91, of Palmyra, Virginia, formerly of Laurel Springs, New Jersey, passed away on January 26, 2019, peacefully and surrounded by his loving family in his home. Born on October 2, 1927, in Camden, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Malcolm Melick Steck Sr., and the late Sarah Graham Steck. Malcolm spent his early life in Camden and Merchantville, N.J.; summers on the Susquehanna River; was a proud Boy Scout; received his degree in Journalism at Temple University and had a sports column in the Merchantville paper.
