Police Department Position
The Merchantville Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer position. Candidates must possess a valid PTC Certificate or a waivable Class II Certificate. Spanish language fluency is a plus. Applications may be picked up Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at police headquarters, 1 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville NJ, 08109. Winter Weather Advisory
A Winter Weather Message has been issued by the National Weather Service from Mount Holly, NJ. The advisory is in effect fro 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13th until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14th. Snow is expected with total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches over portions of central and northern Delaware, northeast Maryland, central, northern, northwest, and southern New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania followed

Toys for Tots 2025
The Merchantville Fire Department is proud to be a drop-off location again this year for the Toys for Tots program, a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.
