Charlie Koory and the Borough recently put shouts out to all Merchantville and neighboring town crepe lovers to show up at the shop on Wednesday, April 19th, when Bob Kelly - traffic anchor and a feature reporter for "Good Day Philadelphia" - was coming to Charlie's Crepes to film a "Kelly Drives" show! To entice participation by some extra customers, Charlie gave away free ham and cheese, spinach and asiago cheese or banana Nutella crepes after 11:00 a.m. to anyone who would just show up and flash their pearly whites on TV.

On Wednesday, South Jersey Gems visited Merchantville. The small town takes you back in time with its beautiful Victorian homes and very walkable downtown. It's also where you'll find one of the sweetest candy shops. Aunt Charlotte's Candies is my absolute favorite. It's adorably decorated for every holiday, with lots of seasonal treats. They also make many candies on site so they're always fresh and delicious!
