Best Burger in the County

There's a reason why nearly every restaurant — from fast to fine — has a burger on its menu. It's because they're universally adored. It's the same reason I ate 44 burgers at 44 restaurants in the past two months — to find the absolute juiciest, most flavorful version in each county in the Garden State. The following burgers are so good that even after eating 44 burgers in a very short time, I'm still dreaming about them. The Blue Monkey Burger from Blue Monkey Tavern in Merchantville is Camden County's best burger.

A Town Staple

July's Feature Buisness of the month McFarlan's Market Merchantville. The remake of the original corner store, reopened in May 2010, transformed the old Philadelphia fruit market back to its original name with a new look. The service is great, the food is great, and all the employees are phenomenal! It's definitely worth stopping by for a coffee, a sandwich, or other grocery needs because McFarlan's never disappoints. This corner store is a town staple. Small-business owners love what they do, and they play an important role in supporting local communities - from contributing hometown resources to providing meeting places for residents and neighbors. When it comes to showing your support for small businesses, it’s important to do so. Everything from the local market to the clothing boutique relies on the support of loyal customers to keep its doors open, and when you spend money at a small business, you’ll gain plenty of wonderful benefits!

Visit Eclipse Brewing

Maureen Fitzpatrick from Visit South Jersey recently stopped by Eclipse Brewing and was impressed by the size and variety. "It’s a rare day when you walk to the backyard of an attractive business and see beautiful green Centennial hops climbing a trellis. But that’s just what you’d expect after meeting a fun-loving man named Chris Mattern, owner of the “tiny” brewery on our next stop – Eclipse Brewing. He’s a man who enjoys the simple things in life, like horticulture and home brewing. On October 8th, 2016, Chris did something else he’s always wanted to do, an idea sparked by his wife Beth; he opened a craft brewery in Merchantville, New Jersey. And though small, perhaps one of the smallest in the state, the beer at Eclipse Brewing is big on taste." Read her full article.
