2012 Parks & Playgrounds

Come join us for some summer fun!  The Summer Parks and Playgrounds Program begins Monday, June 25th and runs through Friday, July 27th at the Merchantville Community Center. Children who have completed pre-K through 10 years of age are invited to participate.

Caucus meeting 6.11.12

On the agenda at the Council caucus meeting this week are resolutions appointing Roy Adair as new Public Works manager, six liens for property maintenance, an RFP for 109 Myrtle Avenue and 309 Plymouth Avenue, liquor license renewals for Manasur, Mitchell Z and First Jay and hiring of Patricia Fields as the 2012 Parks and Playgrounds administrator. Also to be discussed are the use of the Community Center grounds by St. Peter’s and hiring of two reserve police officers Robert Mulhern III and Dominic Massimoare.

On May 8, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. a public hearing will be held before the Planning Board of the Borough of Merchantville at the Borough Hall on the application of Ato Swann for a variance to permit Retail Sales, Retail Sales of Prepackaged Food, and Charge for Admission. The Borough of Merchantville invites proposals for development of 29 Volan Street, Merchantville, NJ. The Borough will receive sealed proposals on Tuesday, May 22nd no later than 10:00 a.m. The minimum bid is $50,000. Proposal packages are on file and may be examined at the Office of the Borough Clerk. Art Reception Planned

Eilanarts Center invites you to join them on January 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for the art reception of their current show "The Shape of Color".
